How to log Waist circumference and Weight in ConnectedLife App?

Waist circumference and weight play a crucial role in assessing your overall health, particularly through the calculation of your Body Mass Index (BMI). You’ll find these vital measurements in the log section of the app under ‘Physicals.’

The process of logging your Waist Circumference and Weight in the ConnectedLife app has been guided in this article.

  • Start by logging into the app. Scroll down, navigate to the ‘Log’ section and select ‘Physicals.’ Here, input your waist circumference and weight accurately, and don’t forget to click ‘Done’ to save your entries.

  • To review your measurements, head to the ‘Analysis’ Tab and scroll down. You can view your data in both ‘Metric’ and ‘Imperial’ formats for your convenience.

Tip: For the best experience, ensure to fill up your measurements accurately.

 

Why it is important to input Physicals?

The significance of inputting physical data is crucial for maintaining comprehensive and accurate health records. Inputting physicals, such as height, weight, and waist circumference, allows ConnectedLife’s Support Team Member to monitor changes in a patient’s health status over time. For instance, inputting data like height, and weight enables the calculation of important metrics like Body Mass Index (BMI), which is a key indicator of healthy physical status.

What is Log and why it is important to complete Profile Log?

It is essential to keep a detailed Profile Log to document a range of health measurements, including physicals, blood pressure, blood glucose & HbA1c, body temperature, SpO2 & PR bpm, and lipids levels. Regular and systematic recording of detailed information in the user’s profile is crucial to guarantee a precise assessment of their well-being.

Users can update their Profile Log through the ConnectedLife App.

What is Goals?

In the ConnectedLife App, the Goal feature serves as your challenge tracker, helping you stay on course and measure your progress toward your objectives.

On the Home screen of the app, head to Goals.

You can keep track of the continuing challenges that your support team member has set for you within it, whether they are finished or not.

Why it is important to Acknowledge different types of reminders?

It is important to acknowledge reminders, as this will provide your support team with the right information to assess your condition. You will receive daily notifications via the ConnectedLife app during your recovery period.

If the support team or doctors set any of the below reminders to patients/users then the user will get a reminder via their app notification also from the linked device. Following this schedule closely will ensure your support team has the right information to assess your health.

Users can get reminders for Schedule Management, such as:

  • Report condition
  • Medication and Specialised nutrition
  • Stay hydrated
  • Activity
  • Take a rest

Moreover, users can also get nudges for Daily Steps Data, Daily Sleep Efficiency, Resting Heart Rate, etc.

Go to the Home page of the App, you will find the Reminders section.

Report Condition

A notification will be sent to you asking you to report your status. By inputting data in the report condition you will provide full info about your current health condition. The health team will take steps accordingly.

Every 24 hours, you are required to monitor a set of statuses. The following questions will be prompted based on your input. In most cases, it is recommended that you answer all questions, but if you do not wish to answer any particular question, then please tap on Skip and proceed.

The Report health status section of the report provides an overview of your responses. Additionally, your responses will contribute to your overall wellness score.

Activity

During the recovery process, your support team will schedule a set of exercise repetitions to facilitate your overall recovery. Your support team will notify you when exercises are scheduled. You must begin your exercise at the scheduled time and acknowledge it.

By clicking on the icon, you will be able to view the details of the exercise. At the scheduled time, click Start to begin the exercise. Exercise time will be recorded. On its own, it will be marked as Done.

Medication

You can view the details of a particular medication via Reminders and via the notification received at the time of medication. You will receive relevant notifications about exercises scheduled by your support team. By acknowledging it, the support team will properly update you with your medication intake history. They will also work accordingly.

The medications must be taken at the scheduled time. You should mark them as Taken; 30 minutes before or after the scheduled time. On your smartwatch, you can also mark it as Completed.

In some cases, you may not be able to take the medication at the scheduled time or within 30 minutes of the reminder. You may take it later and enter the timing. The item will be marked as Delayed on its own. You can also Delay your medication for 10 minutes using the reminder on your smartwatch. By default, the medicine will be marked as Missed if you forget to mark it as Taken or enter a delayed time. Make sure that the information is entered correctly.

You will be sent a notification on the mobile application if there is an update to your existing medication schedule or if your support team has prescribed a new medication. To dismiss the notification message box, click Acknowledge. The medication schedule has been updated. As a result of the update, you will begin receiving reminder notifications.

Stay Hydrated

As quick inputs, we have set values of 50ml, 250ml, and 500ml. Choose the value that is closest to your intake or type a specific value. In the Edit input preference section, you may edit your measurement unit. Staying hydrated is essential for your well-being. You may acknowledge it.

A notification will be sent to your smartwatch and app to remind you to drink water. Depending on the goal set for you by your support team, you can track your water intake. A No hydration goal is set message will appear on the screen if you haven’t set any hydration goals.

Take a Rest

For a faster recovery, it is recommended that you take occasional rest breaks. On your smartwatch device and mobile app, you will receive reminders to take a break. Do acknowledge.

Tips:

The user will also get Alerts and Nudges reminders via- SMS, Email, and Push notifications. The support team will choose how you will get the nudge.

What should I do when I get Take a rest reminder?

This article will help you understand what to do when you get a rest reminder.

For App

Step 1: Tap the notification

First, You will get a notification to take a rest. The reminder will appear on your mobile according to the scheduled time. Tap the notification.

Step 2: Tap the acknowledge button

By tapping on the notification on mobile, a message box will appear. There’ll be an Acknowledgement button; tap it to finish the process.

For Watch

Tap anywhere on the watch screen. Then acknowledge the rest.

Tip: After finishing the process, click the bell icon with the red sign. There, you’ll see a notification named Take a rest. Tap it, and you can see all the acknowledgment history.

 

How can I see my scheduled Take a rest?

The schedule management feature Take a rest, can be easily seen as a Reminders section in the Connectedlife App.

Go to the Connectedlife App.

Step 2:

On the Connected Life App homepage in the the Reminders section, you can see the option to Take a rest. By clicking the Take a rest tab you can see the resting schedule.

Note: Users can view their scheduled resting time by viewing the take a rest option, such as when they have to take a rest. To maintain proper health, the patient has to rest from time to time according to the prescription.

 

How can I see my Scheduled Hydration?

In this article, you will learn how a user can see his/her scheduled hydration.

Through the schedule management option, which is included in the patient profile area, our support team schedules hydration for our users regularly.

Step 1:

Go to the user/patient app.

Step 2:

On the app homepage in the reminders section, patients will see the option to Stay hydrated. By clicking the Stay Hydrated tab patients can see the scheduled Hydration.

By stay hydrated option patient can view their scheduled hydration details. Such as how many milliliters of water the patient must drink. To maintain their suggested level of hydration, They can also log their water intake portion whenever they drink water.

The patient can also regularly note how much water they intake.

 

What should I do when I get Medication & Specialised Nutrition Reminder?

The purpose of this article is to assist you in understanding what to do when you receive a medication reminder.

Step 1: Tap the Notification

The first thing you will receive is a notification to take medicine. You will receive a reminder on your mobile device at the scheduled time. Click on the notification.

Step 2: Enter App’s Notification

If you tap on the notification on your mobile device, you will automatically be redirected to the app’s notifications. Tap on Medication when you see it.

Step 3: Input Medicine Intake Status

Then, tap the right icon. The icon will turn green when it is tapped when you take the medicine at the appropriate time.

In the event of delayed medication intake. Choose the medicine from the notification list. Then you will have two options: Skip and Edit Time After selecting Edit Time.

A message box will appear on the screen with the option to Enter and Go Back. The medicine intake time must be entered and the Enter key must be pressed.

The right-mark icon will then appear yellow.

If you have not taken the medicine. Select the medicine from the notification list. You will then have two options: Skip and Taken at….Click on Skip. As a result, the right-mark icon will appear as a red cross.

For Watch

The reminder screen appears during the scheduled time. The watch can be tapped anywhere on the device. Tap completed or Delay according to your medicine intake time. However, you must ensure that the watch is synced and connected to your smartphone.

Note: Mark them as ‘Taken’ either 30 minutes before or after the scheduled time.

 

How can I see my Scheduled Medication & Specialised Nutrition?

Users can view their medications on the ConnectedLife mobile app’s home page under the “Medication and Specialised Nutrition” tab.

By clicking medication and specialised nutrition patients can view scheduled medication details such as

  • Medicine name
  • Medicine form and weight
  • Per dose amount
  • Also any medication notes from the support team.

Note: Users can check their medication schedule from the app’s calendar feature by simply selecting the previous day they want to view.
